UpFront Breastfeeding Support Group

Welcome to the Upfront Liskeard Breastfeeding Support Group! We offer non-judgemental support for mums to build your confidence with breastfeeding and enable you to breastfeed your baby for as long as you choose. The group is open to women who are at any stage on their breastfeeding journey, whether pregnant, currently breastfeeding, expressing or combination feeding and also those whose breastfeeding journey has drawn to a close but still want the support of the group. We also welcome partners, your families, friends and supporters to the group and older children are more than welcome too.

 

The group is run by volunteer Peer Supporters, who are Mums with their own breastfeeding experiences, that have received additional training with Real Baby Milk in order to support our Mums with current advice & up to date information. It’s a great place to meet like minded Mums & their children, grab a cuppa with some friendly faces & also get some advice or support if you would like it.

 

We meet every Thursday, including through school holidays, 10-11.30am at the Children’s Centre in Varley Lane and there are also peer supporters available on Facebook if you need online support.
