10am – 11am Qigong. Qigong means “energy work” and the slow, flowing movements that make up the Qigong sequences are energising as well as calming and mindful. The movements are gentle and easy to follow and can be adapted for sitting.
The Qigong routines we study include: Five Animals Qigong (Wu Qin Xi), Great Dance (Da Wu) and 8 Pieces of Brocade (Ba Duan Jin). We always practise a strengthening routine called “Shen Jin Ba Gu”, which means “Lengthen the ligaments, open the joints”.
The classes are open to beginners. Please bring some water to drink and wear loose comfortable clothes and soft shoes.
