Storytellers – what are we?

We are friendly enthusiasts who enjoy telling or listening to stories.

We love folk tales, urban myths, tall stories, anecdotes, and monologues.

We focus on oral telling rather than reading or singing, though either may contribute to a tale.

Our tellers include beginners (who are warmly welcomed and encouraged), and some of the best storytellers in the land.

In Liskeard Public Hall, West Street, Liskeard at 7.30 pm on the 4th Thursday. From those old enough to buy a drink we invite a donation of £3 to cover venue costs. On guest nights we ask for more, usually about £8. If you are unwaged or having a hard time then just give what you can. We want you to come along, and no-one is counting the money!
